Wizards at Grizzlies 12/14/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In Saturday night NBA action, the Washington Wizards will travel to the FedEx Forum to take on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Wizards (7-16) have lost three straight games and rank last in the league in scoring defense (122.1 ppg). On Tuesday, Washington was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 114-107 road loss against Charlotte.

Washington F Davis Bertans knocked down eight of his 12 three-point attempts and finished with a game high 32 points. Bradley Beal added 16 points and nine assists for the Wizards.

The Memphis Grizzlies come into this contest having lost 17 of their first 25 games, but have plenty to be excited about with the talented duo of Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.. Last night, Ja Morant (back) was sidelined during a 127-114 home loss versus Milwaukee. The Grizzlies were outscored by 18 points during the fourth quarter and shot just 39 percent overall.

Second-year pro Jaren Jackson Jr. poured in a game high 43 points on a 14-for-21 shooting performance. Jae Crowder added 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies.

Memphis F Brandon Clarke (left oblique) did not play last night and is expected to play in this contest. These two squads rank in the top five in tempo and the Wizards rank last in the league in defensive efficiency. Look for this game to soar over the total. Final Score Prediction, Memphis Grizzlies 123-120.
