Wizards at Celtics 11/13/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 11/13/2019 at 12:29 AM ET

In Wednesday night NBA action, the Washington Wizards will travel to TD Garden to face the Boston Celtics. The Wizards have lost six of their first eight games and figure to be one of the worst teams in the league this season. On Friday, Washington trailed by 15 points at halftime and was never able to regain the lead during the second half of a 113-100 home loss versus Cleveland.

Washington C Thomas Bryant led all scorers with 23 points on 11-for-16 from the field and pulled down eight rebounds. Bradley Beal added 20 points and nine assists in a losing effort for the Wizards.

The Boston Celtics lost their season opener at Philadelphia, but have reeled off eight straight victories. All-Star G Kemba Walker leads the Celtics, who are allowing just 104 points on average, in scoring at 25 points per game. On Monday, Boston outscored Dallas by 11 points over the final five-plus minutes to pull away for a 116-106 home victory.

Kemba Walker nailed a trio of clutch three-pointers and finished with a team high 29 points. Jaylen Brown contributed 25 points and 11 rebounds for the Celtics.

Boston G/F Gordon Hayward is expected to miss the next six weeks after undergoing surgery on his left hand. The Wizards rank second worst in defensive efficiency and like to push the tempo. Look for this game to soar over the total. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics win but our best play is the over 123-114.
