In the first game of a Wednesday night NBA on ESPN doubleheader, the Washington Wizards will visit the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Wizards have lost 20 of their 26 road games and trail Miami by three games for the final playoff spot in the East. On Monday, Washington was outscored by 15 points during the first quarter of a 137-129 home loss versus Atlanta. The Wizards were out rebounded by nine and shot 50 percent in defeat.

Washington G Bradley Beal tallied a game high 27 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists. Trevor Ariza added 25 points and five assists for the Wizards. The Milwaukee Bucks have won four straight games and lead Toronto by two full games for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. On Monday, Milwaukee took advantage of an ice-cold Brooklyn squad during a 113-94 road triumph. The Bucks outscored the Nets by 14 points during the third quarter and limited them to 32 percent shooting overall.

Milwaukee F Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 30 points to go along with 11 rebounds and nine assists. Malcolm Brogdon chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds for the Bucks.

Washington G John Wall will undergo surgery to repair his Achilles and will miss the next 12 months. The Bucks rank first in the league in defensive efficiency and hold a significant advantage on the glass. Take Milwaukee to win and cover at home.
