The Dallas Wings (2-2) visit the Big Apple to face the New York Liberty (0-2) on Tuesday in a WNBA showdown.

Dallas was victorious in its most recent outing defeating the Atlanta Dream 78-70 Saturday. Skylar Diggins-Smith led the Wings with 26 points including 12 in the fourth quarter, while Liz Cambage scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

The Liberty have started their season slow losing both games with the most recent loss coming on Friday night 78-72 to the Minnesota Lynx. The game was New York’s first on its new court in their new home the Westchester County Center, where they will play Tuesday’s game and hopefully have their first win at home and for the season. Skylar Diggins-Smith leads the Wings in scoring and assists averaging 20.3 points and 5.5 assists per game. Elizabeth Cambage is the second leading scorer and leading rebounder averaging 16.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. One other player, Glory Johnson is averaging double figures in scoring at 12.0 points per game. Diggins-Smith has taken 64 field goals to far and away lead the team, but is shooting just 37.5% from the field.

Tina Charles leads the Liberty in scoring and rebounding averaging 18.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. The second leading scorer and only other player averaging double figures in scoring is Kia Nurse with an average of 15.5 points per game. The leader in assists is Bria Hartley with an average of 4.5 per game. Charles is shooting 44.4% from the field hitting 16 of her 36 field goals thus far in two games played.
