The Toyota Center will play host to a Tuesday night NBA clash between the Washington Wizards and the Houston Rockets. The Wizards have dropped nine of their first 12 games and rank last in the league in scoring defense (121.3 ppg). On Sunday, Washington was outscored by 19 points during the second half of a 121-101 road loss against San Antonio.

Washington G Bradley Beal led all scorers with 31 points on 13-for-29 shooting and pulled down seven boards. Jerome Robinson added 16 points and five rebounds in a losing effort for the Wizards.

The Houston Rockets have won consecutive games and appear to be moving on well from the James Harden trade. On Saturday, Houston raced out to an 11-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 133-108 road triumph against Dallas. The Rockets (6-9) connected on 16-for-37 from the three-point line and shot 55 percent overall.

Houston G Eric Gordon nailed six of his nine long distance attempts and finished with a game-high 33 points. DeMarcus Cousins contributed 28 points and 17 rebounds for the Rockets.
