The Wizards (2-0) are looking to build a playoff team around All-Star G Bradley Beal and must improve on a defense that ranked 25th in efficiency last season. On Friday, Washington limited Chicago to 42 percent shooting during a 102-100 home victory.

The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired All-Star G Donovan Mitchell this offseason and are on the rise in the Eastern Conference pecking order. In their season opener, Cleveland was outscored by 11 points during the fourth quarter of a 108-105 road loss against Toronto. The Cavaliers held a 52-36 advantage in points scored in the paint and shot 49 percent from the field.

Donovan Mitchell impressed in his team debut, finishing with a game-high 31 points (12-21 FG) and nine assists. Jarrett Allen added 13 points, ten rebounds, and two blocks for the Cavaliers.
