The Golden State Warriors look to bounce back from a loss when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. The Warriors lost on Wednesday to the Houston Rockets 129-112 and fall to 2-6 overall. Alec Burks led Golden State in the loss with 28 points, while Eric Paschall scored 19 and Glenn Robinson III chipped in with 15 points and 11 boards.

The Timberwolves won four of their first five but have lost two straight after falling to the Memphis Grizzlies 137-121 Wednesday night and are now 4-3. Minnesota was led in the loss by Andrew Wiggins with 30 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns scored 25 and pulled down 13 rebounds. Wiggins said after the game the T-Wolves could not get the stops on defense they need to win.

D’Angelo Russell leads Golden State in scoring and assists with averages of 19.0 points and 6.4 assists per game. Eric Paschall is second in scoring with an average of 17.0 points per game. Draymond Green is leading the Warriors in rebounding with an average of 7.8 per game. Six players are averaging double figures in scoring.

Karl-Anthony Towns leads the T-Wolves in scoring and rebounding with averages of 26.8 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. The leader in assists is Jeff Teague with an average of 6.3 per game. Andrew Wiggins is the second leading scorer with an average of 22.4 points per game. The T-Wolves have four players scoring in double figures.

Golden State is having big problems with injuries and continues to play with rookies and others with little to no NBA experience. The Warriors have failed to cover 5 of the last 6 played in Minnesota and 12 of the last 17 overall against the Timberwolves. Minnesota looks to play an up-tempo game and the Timberwolves will wear down the Warriors at home on Friday. Final Score Prediction, Minnesota Timberwolves win and cover ATS 126-113.
