Game Seven of the Western Conference Finals will take place on Monday night, when the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets square off at the Toyota Center. The defending NBA Champion Warriors faced elimination in Game Six and responded in a major way with a 115-86 home victory. Golden State outscored Houston 64-25 in the second half. The Warriors connected on 16-for-38 from the three-point line and assisted on 26 of their 43 made field goals.

All-Star G Klay Thompson exploded for a game high 35 points on 9-for-14 from long distance. Steph Curry contributed 29 points and six assists for the Warriors. The Houston Rockets won a league best 65 games during the regular season and now are in a position to advance to the NBA Finals with one more home victory. The Rockets jumped out to a 39-22 lead after one quarter in Game Six, but fell apart after that. Houston turned the ball over 21 times, which led to 23 Golden State points. The Rockets knocked down 15-for-39 from long range, but assisted on just 13 of their 31 made field goals in defeat.

MVP front runner James Harden led four Houston players in double figures with 32 points and nine assists. Clint Capela grabbed a game high 15 rebounds, but finished with an awful minus 32 rating.

Golden State F Kevin Looney (sore left toe) and G/F Andre Iguodala (leg) are both being listed as questionable for this matchup. Houston G Chris Paul (hamstring) is being listed as a gametime decision. The Warriors finally found their offensive rhythm in the second half of Game Six and will carry that into a series clinching victory on Monday.
