The Golden State Warriors look for their sixth straight victory on Tuesday when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans. The Warriors clinched the top spot in the Western Conference with a 131-104 rout of the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 27 points in what was the last regular season game to be played by the Warriors at Oracle Arena.

New Orleans rallied late to defeat the Sacramento Kings 133-129 on Sunday. Ian Clark led the Pelicans with 31 points hitting a career-high 7 3-pointrs, while Elfrid Payton scored 25 points, with 12 coming during the game’s final 3 ½ minutes helping the Pelicans to rally and win. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Pelicans. Stephen Curry is leading the Warriors in scoring with an average of 27.6 points per game. DeMarcus Cousins leads the team in rebounding with an average of 8.1 per game, while Draymond Green is the leader in assists with an average of 7.0 per game. Golden State is shooting 49% from the field and 38.3% from 3-point territory.

Anthony Davis is leading the Pelicans in scoring, rebounding and blocks with averages of 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. Jrue Holiday is leading the team in assists with an average of 7.7 per game, but is lost for the season with an injury. New Orleans is shooting 47.3% from the field and 34.2% from three-point territory.

Golden State has clinched the Western Conference top spot and in all likelihood will give many of its regulars a rest meaning the game should be much more competitive. New Orleans has gone through problems since limiting disgruntled Anthony Davis to playing time. Julius Randle has flourished in Davis’ absence and is a legitimate star to build a franchise around. Final Score Prediction, New Orleans Pelicans win in upset but grab the points just in case 115-111.
