Utah Jazz at Memphis Grizzlies 5/31/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the second game of a Monday night NBA on TNT playoff doubleheader, the Utah Jazz and the Memphis Grizzlies will square off from the FedEx Forum. The top-seeded Jazz dropped the series opener with Donovan Mitchell sidelined, but have rallied to win consecutive games. On Saturday, Utah used a late 12-0 run to earn a hard-fought 121-111 road victory against Memphis.

All-Star G Donovan Mitchel led all scorers with 29 points on 9-for-23 shooting and dished out five assists. Mike Conley contributed 27 points, eight assists, and six rebounds for the Jazz.

The Memphis Grizzlies split their 36 home games during the regular season and have shown the ability to push the Jazz. In Game Three, Memphis outrebounded Utah by a 50-43 margin and assisted on 23 of their 43 made field goals. The Grizzlies outscored the Jazz by a 54-34 margin in the paint, but missed 28 of their 41 three-point field goal attempts.

Second-year pro Ja Morant led Memphis with 28 points on 10-for-23 shooting and handed out seven assists. Dillon Brooks added 27 points before fouling out in the final minutes.

Both teams come into this game without any significant injuries to report. The Jazz did what they had to do to reclaim homecourt advantage in this best-of-seven series. Take Memphis to pull off the upset in Game Four. Final Score Prediction, Memphis Grizzlies win 114-111.
