Utah Jazz at LA Clippers 6/12/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Utah Jazz look to take a commanding lead in their Western Conference semifinals best of seven series win visiting the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday for Game 3. Utah leads the series 2-0 following a 117-111 victory over Los Angeles on Thursday. Donovan Mitchell scored 37 points in the victory for Utah but limped off the court at the end of the game.  However, Mitchell insisted he was fine. 

Donovan Mitchell is the leading scorer for Utah with an average of 32.3 points per game, while Rudy Gobert is the leading rebounder with an average of 12.8 rebounds per game and Mike Conley is the assists leader with an average of 8.6 per game. Jordan Clarkson is the second-leading scorer with an average of 18.5 points per game and as a team Utah is scoring an average of 121.3 points per game during the postseason. 

Los Angeles is in a must-win situation trailing 0-2 in the series and cannot afford to fall to 0-3. The Clippers were led in the loss by Richie Jackson with 29 points, while Paul George scored 27 and Kawhi Leonard added 21. However Leonard was held to just two points during the fourth quarter. The Clippers took the lead in the middle of the fourth quarter but missed each of their next nine shots, were outscored 14-2 during the stretch and could not recover.

During the postseason, Kawhi Leonard is the leading scorer for Los Angeles with an average of 29.7 points per game, while Paul George is the second-leading scorer, leading rebounder and leader in assists with averages of 24.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. Los Angeles has four players averaging double-figures in scoring and as a team is scoring an average of 111.0 points per game.
