Utah Jazz at Detroit Pistons 3/7/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In Saturday night NBA action, the Utah Jazz will invade Little Caesars Arena to battle the Detroit Pistons. This will be the second of a back-to-back for Utah, who built a 12-point halftime lead and held on for a 99-94 road victory against Boston last night. The Jazz (40-22) never trailed during the second half and limited the Celtics to 37 percent shooting.

Utah G Mike Conley knocked down 6-for-10 from the three-point line and finished with a team-high 25 points. Jordan Clarkson chipped in 17 points and four rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench.

The Detroit Pistons have lost nine of their last ten games and could end up with the worst overall record in the Eastern Conference by season’s end. On Wednesday, Detroit rallied from a 16-point deficit before falling down the stretch of a 114-107 home victory versus Oklahoma City. The Pistons (20-43) outrebounded the Thunder by eight and connected on 18-for-43 from long distance.

Christian Wood led five Detroit players in double figures with 29 points on 12-for-16 shooting and pulled down nine boards. Brandon Knight added 18 points and seven assists for the Pistons.

Detroit G Derrick Rose suffered a sprained right ankle and is scheduled to be re-evaluated in a few weeks. The Jazz are playing on consecutive nights and will have a difficult time covering a high number. Look for this game to cruise over the total in high scoring battle. Final Score Prediction, Utah Jazz win in over game 115-107.
