On Thursday, an NBA Western Conference Finals matchup and an NFL Thursday night showdown highlight this two-team parlay. The Los Angeles Lakers play the Denver Nuggets on Thursday in Game 4 of their Conference Finals with the Lakers leading the best-of-seven series 2-1, while the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football for Florida bragging rights.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets: LAL -6; Total 215

The Denver Nuggets narrowed the Los Angeles Lakers lead in the Western Conference Finals to 2-1 following a 114-106 victory on Tuesday in Game 3. Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic are the top two leading scorers for the Nuggets, but Jerami Grant scored a postseason-high 21 points for Denver.  Denver nearly squandered a 20-point lead in the early part of the fourth quarter but showed its poise and held off the Lakers late. Los Angeles has LeBron James, Anthony Davis and a solid supporting cast, but they have had problems controlling Murray and Jokic on the defensive end of the court. Denver evens the series on Thursday with a win and cover.

1st Part of NBA/NFL Parlay: Denver Nuggets +6

Miami Dolphins at Jacksonville Jaguars: JAC -3; Total 48

The Miami Dolphins are 0-2 through the first two weeks this season following defeats to the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. Miami had an opportunity to beat Buffalo on Sunday but could not take advantage of scoring situations failing to score with a first down at the Buffalo one yard line during the third quarter, after Preston Williams dropped a pass on fourth down in the end zone. The Dolphins closed to within three points with 49 seconds to play but were unable to recover the ensuing onside kick. Jacksonville was victorious in its opening game of the season over the Indianapolis Colts but lost on a last-second field goal to the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. The Jacksonville offense led by quarterback Gardner Minshew is averaging  28.5 points per game but the defense is allowing an average of 26.5 points per game. However, the passing game of Jacksonville with Minshew and DJ Clark Jr. mixed with a solid running attack by James Robinson will be enough for the Jaguars to send Miami to its third consecutive defeat on Thursday 31-24.
