Two Team Parlay for Tonight - Friday 10/9/20

On Friday, Game 5 of the NBA Finals will be played between the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers with the Lakers one win from an NBA title. The other half of the Two-Team Parlay on Friday is an Atlantic Coast Conference college football showdown between the Louisville Cardinals and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Lakers: LAL -7.5 Total 216

The Miami Heat are on the brink of elimination as they play the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday in Game 5 of their NBA Finals best of seven series. The Heat narrowed the Lakers lead to 2-1 with a victory in Game 3 despite not having both Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic on the court, but although the Heat played well in Game 4 and Adebayo returned, Miami was unable to make enough stops on the defensive end against both LeBron James and Anthony Davis and fell behind in the series 3-1 and have their backs against the wall. On Friday, the Lakers will win and become the new NBA champions, but the play is here UNDER. Three of the first four games in this NBA Finals series and six of the last eight overall between the two have cashed UNDER. Both the Heat and Lakers are talented enough on defense to prevent any big scoring runs to take place. Take the UNDER here.

Louisville Cardinals at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets: LOU -4.5; Total 64

Both Louisville and Georgia Tech are rebuilding and that's easy to see as Louisville is 1-2 SU and 1-1-1 ATS, while Georgia Tech is 1-2 SU and ATS. Malik Cunningham has had a good start to the season at quarterback for Louisville throwing for 757 yards with seven touchdowns but has also tossed five interceptions. Javian Hawkins rushed 164 yards against the Miami Hurricanes and features big in this matchup on Friday against Georgia Tech. The Cardinals defense is led by Dorian Etheridge. The linebacker leads the country in tackles for a loss with 8.5 and has also sacked the quarterback twice. Jeff Sims is the starting quarterback for Georgia Tech and has thrown for 695 yards with three touchdowns but has been picked off too often with eight in just three games. Sims is a dual-threat under center and has rushed for 187 yards. This is just the second time the two schools have played and in 2018 when they met for the first time, Georgia Tech embarrassed Louisville 66-31. However, this season, the Cardinals offense behind Malik Cunningham and a strong defense led by Dorian Etheridge will win and cover on Friday night.
