Two Team NBA Parlay for today - Sunday 9/6/20

Two NBA Conference semifinals that have had surprising results thus far make up today's two-team NBA parlay. In the Eastern Conference the Miami Heat can eliminate the Milwaukee Bucks with a victory on Sunday, while in the Western Conference the Houston Rockets can take a commanding 2-0 lead in their conference semifinals series against the Los Angeles Lakers

Milwaukee Bucks vs Miami Heat, MIA -2  ; O/U 220

The Milwaukee Bucks have their backs against the wall trailing in their Eastern Conference semifinals series 3-0 to the Miami Heat. In Game 3, Milwaukee led by 12 points entering the fourth quarter but were outscored 40-13 in the final stanza and are likely still shaking their collective heads in disbelief. The odds do not look too good for the Bucks as far as the series is concerned as no NBA team in league history has rallied from a 3-0 series deficit to win. However, it is difficult to write off the Bucks, as Milwaukee will attempt to save some face by winning Game 4 and extend the series to at least Game 5. However Miami, behind Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, will put an end to Milwaukee's misery with a sweep of the series on Sunday.

Houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Lakers, LAL -5.5; O/U 224

Houston jumped out to a 1-0 series lead over the Los Angeles Lakers with a 112-97 victory in Game 1 on Friday. James Harden scored 36 points in the victory and the Rockets won playing defense against the favored Lakers. While the Lakers are favored to win the series, in part due to their advantage in size, Houston with its smaller lineup and speed proved to be difficult for the Lakers to contain. Harden and Russell Westbrook are the keys to Houston’s success and must continue to play well to offset the play of Los Angeles Lakers’ stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James. In Game 2, expect the Lakers to bounce back with a display of their own defense and exceptional play from both Davis and James, to win and cover easily 117-103.
