Two Team NBA Parlay for Today - Monday 8/17/20

The NBA best of seven quarterfinal series' begin on Monday in both the Eastern and Western Conferences.  The eight-game seeding schedule and one play-in game are now behind us and the best-of-seven series will take center stage beginning Monday with four games including two that are an excellent choice for a parlay play

Utah Jazz vs Denver Nuggets, DEN -3; O/U 217.5

Just 1 ½  games separated these two during the regular season, as Denver won the Northwest division over both Utah and Oklahoma City. Denver has defeated Utah in each of the three games the two played during the regular season, including on August 8 in one of the eight seeding games. The Nuggets have also covered the number in each of those three versus the Jazz. Jamal Murray returned from a hamstring injury earlier during the seeding schedule and has given the Nuggets a spark on offense joining triple double threat Nikola Jokic. The Nuggets will take a 1-0 lead in this series on Monday with a win and cover.

Brooklyn Nets vs Toronto Raptors, TOR -9.5; O/U 222

The Brooklyn Nets open their best of seven quarterfinal series against the No. 2 seeded Toronto Raptors on Monday. Brooklyn has surprised everyone by qualifying for the postseason after losing their two top scorers Kyrie Irving and Spencer Dinwiddie for the postseason. However, Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen have played well during the eight-seeding games, helping the Nets cover the number in six of their last seven and win eight of their last 11 straight up. Toronto has proven during the regular season they are once again contenders for the NBA title and will defeat the Nets on Monday but fall short ATS.
