Two Game NBA Parlay For Tonight - Friday 9/4/20

NBA Conference semifinals continue on Friday and make for an excellent two-team NBA parlay. Game 3 of an NBA Eastern Conference semifinals series tips off Friday with one of the two participants looking for its first win of the series, while the opening game of one of the NBA Western Conference semifinals makes up the second half of today’s two-game parlay 

Milwaukee Bucks vs Miami Heat, MIL -5  ; O/U 223

The Milwaukee Bucks trail in their best of seven Eastern Conference semifinals series 2-0 and are in dire need of a victory on Friday in Game 3. The Bucks battled back from a double-digit deficit in Game 2 and almost pulled out of victory but came up just short. Buck's star Giannis Antetokounmpo committed a foul with no time left on the clock that allowed the Heat's Jimmy Butler to sink a pair of free throws to send Milwaukee to the loss. The Bucks owned the best overall record in the NBA during the regular season but have found it difficult to break down the Miami defense as well as stop Heat players such as Butler, Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo. However, in Game 3 Milwaukee will bounce back with a stellar effort behind the “Greek Freak” to narrow Miami's lead to 2-1 in the series.

Houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Lakers, LAL -6.5; O/U 226.5

The Houston Rockets finally eliminated the Oklahoma City Thunder in the seventh and deciding game of their Western Conference quarterfinals series on Wednesday. The Rockets expended plenty of energy but were helped by the return of star Russell Westbrook in the final three games of the seven-game series. However, the Rockets will suffer a slight let down after their game 7 Victory on Wednesday and I have a hard time early in Game 1 when facing the Lakers Friday. Los Angeles has not played for a week since eliminating the Portland Trail Blazers but will be fresh and behind Anthony Davis and LeBron James will win straight up, but fall short against the number, as Houston will recover from its slow start and finish with a flurry for a backdoor cover.
