On Tuesday, the Portland Trail Blazers look for their fourth straight victory when they visit southern California to play the LA Clippers. The Trail Blazers defeated the Chicago Bulls on Friday 107-103 for their third straight win and improved to 8-12. Carmelo Anthony scored 23 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the victory as the veteran continues to provide Portland much needed offense.

Damian Lillard leads Portland in scoring and assists with averages of 27.3 points and 7.3 assists per game. Hassan Whiteside is fourth in scoring and the leader in rebounding with averages of 14.8 points and 12.4 rebounds per game. Six players for the Trail Blazers are averaging double figures in scoring.

The Clippers look for a second straight victory on Tuesday when hosting Portland. LA defeated the Washington Wizards on Sunday 150-125 and improved to 15-6. Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers in the 25-point rout of the Wizards with 34 points, while Paul George scored 31. The Clippers have won 12 straight at home against Washington.

Kawhi Leonard is leading the Clippers in scoring with an average of 25.9 points per game and is the top rebounder as well with an average of 8.0 per game. Lou Williams is the leader in assists with an average of 6.3 per game. Paul George is second in scoring with an average of 23.4 points per game.

The Clippers are just 2 ½ games behind the Los Angeles Lakers in the Pacific division at 15-6 and are just beginning to mesh with the addition of Paul George to the lineup the last two weeks. The Clippers have scored 150 or more points twice this season. Portland received much needed offense from the signing of Carmelo Anthony but the Trail Blazers will not have enough to keep up with the Clippers on Tuesday.
