Timberwolves at Hornets 10/25/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 10/24/2019 at 10:19 PM ET

The Spectrum Center will play host to a Friday night NBA clash between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Charlotte Hornets. The Timberwolves are not expected to be a playoff contender, but have one of the best big-men in the game in Karl-Anthony Towns. On Wednesday, Minnesota spoiled Kyrie Irving’s debut during a 127-126 road victory against Brooklyn.

Karl-Anthony Towns led six Minnesota players in double figures with 36 points and 14 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins chipped in 21 points on an inefficient 10-for-27 shooting effort.

The Charlotte Hornets lost All-Star G Kemba Walker in the offseason to Boston and have moved forward with a full-blown rebuilding process. On Wednesday, Charlotte erased a ten-point deficit with just over six minutes remaining to score an exciting 126-125 home victory versus Chicago. The Hornets won despite being outrebounded 58-48 and turning the ball over 19 times.

Rookie P.J. Washington nailed seven three-pointers and tallied a team high 27 points. Devonte’ Graham contributed 23 points and eight assists in 27 minutes off the Charlotte bench.

Charlotte C Cody Zeller (personal) did not attend practice on Thursday and his status for this contest is uncertain. With Zeller potentially sidelined, the Hornets will have no answer for Towns. Take the Timberwolves to cruise to a double-digit victory. Final Score Prediction, Minnesota Timberwolves win and cover ATS 121-108.
