Thunder at Timberwolves 4/7/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

A nationally televised NBA game will take place on Sunday afternoon, when the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Thunder have clinched a playoff spot and trail the Clippers by a half-game for sixth place in the West. On Friday, Oklahoma City limited Detroit to just 14 points over the final 12 minutes of a 123-110 home victory. The Thunder dominated the Pistons on the glass by a 71-41 margin and shot 48 percent from the field.

Oklahoma City F Paul George tallied a team high 30 points on 11-for-24 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. Steven Adams chipped in 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Thunder. The Minnesota Timberwolves have yet to realize their potential with the talented duo of Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. On Friday, Minnesota played spoiler during a 111-109 home victory versus Miami. The Timberwolves assisted on 25 of their 43 made field goals and shot 50 percent overall.

Dario Saric led a balanced Minnesota scoring attack with 19 points and seven rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Timberwolves.

Minnesota guards Derrick Rose (elbow) and Jeff Teague (foot) have been shut down for the remainder of the season. The Thunder are clearly the better defensive team and hold an advantage on the glass.
