In Thursday night NBA action, the Oklahoma City Thunder will travel to the Smoothie King Center to battle the New Orleans Pelicans. The Thunder (32-22) have dropped consecutive games and are currently tied with Dallas for sixth place in the Western Conference standings. On Tuesday, Oklahoma City managed just 14 points over the first 12 minutes of a 114-106 home loss versus San Antonio.

Oklahoma City G Chris Paul led all scorers with 31 points on 12-for-18 shooting and dished out seven assists. Danilo Gallinari added 15 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Thunder.

The New Orleans Pelicans have won three straight games and have climbed within 4.5 games of Memphis for eighth place in the West. On Tuesday, New Orleans outscored Portland by 20 points during the third quarter of a convincing 138-117 home victory. The Pelicans (23-31) assisted on 40 of their 49 made field goals and shot 53 percent overall.

Number one overall draft pick Zion Williamson scored a career-high 31 points on 10-for-17 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. Jrue Holiday chipped in 16 points and ten rebounds for the Pelicans.

New Orleans F Brandon Ingram (right ankle) has missed the last two games and is listed as questionable for this contest. The Thunder look better statistically, but the Pelicans are riding high and will win at home on Thursday. Final Score Prediction, New Orleans Pelicans win and cover ATS 121-113.
