In Sunday night NBA action, the Oklahoma City Thunder will travel to the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Mavericks.
The Thunder are ten games above .500 overall and are currently just a half-game behind Denver for the top spot in the Western Conference. On Friday, Oklahoma City outscored Phoenix by 19 points during the final quarter of a 118-102 road victory. The Thunder held a 56-44 advantage on the glass and shot 54 percent from the field.
Russell Westbrook poured in a game high 40 points to go along with 12 rebounds and eight assists. Dennis Schroder chipped in 20 points and eight assists for the Thunder.
The Dallas Mavericks have won 14 of their 17 games at home, but are three games below .500 overall and 2.5 games out of playoff contention in the Western Conference. On Friday, Dallas was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 114-112 road loss at New Orleans. The Mavericks connected on 15 of their 32 three-point attempts and shot 47 percent overall.
Rookie Luka Doncic led five Dallas players in double figures with 34 points on 7-for-10 from long range. Harrison Barnes added 21 points and five rebounds in a losing effort for the Mavericks.
