The Monday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matinee between the Oklahoma City Thunder and New York Knicks from Madison Square Garden.
The Thunder have split their last ten games and are currently tied with Portland for third place in the West. On Saturday, Paul George converted a four-point play with 5.1 seconds remaining to lift Oklahoma City to a 117-115 road victory at Philadelphia. The Thunder made 23 of their 26 free-throw attempts and shot 44 percent from the field.
Paul George nailed all 11 of his free throws and finished with a game high 31 points. Russell Westbrook contributed 21 points and ten rebounds for the Thunder.
The New York Knicks have lost five straight games and have their sights set on the draft lottery as part of a major rebuilding effort. On Thursday, New York traveled to London and came away with a 101-100 loss versus Washington. The Knicks managed just 11 points over the final 12 minutes and were outrebounded by a 58-50 margin.
Emmanuel Mudiay led five New York players in double figures with 25 points and seven rebounds. Noah Vonleh added 13 points and ten rebounds in a losing effort for the Knicks.
