Thunder at Jazz 4/23/18 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the second game of a Monday night NBA on TNT playoff doubleheader, the Oklahoma City Thunder will battle the Utah Jazz in Game Four of their best-of-seven series. The fourth-seeded Thunder took the first game of this series at home, but have dropped consecutive games. On Saturday, Oklahoma City was outscored by 21 points over the final three quarters of a 115-102 road loss. The Thunder connected on 14-for-28 from long range, but assisted on just 17 of their 37 made field goal attempts.

All-Star F Paul George tallied a team high 23 points on a 7-for-16 shooting performance. Russell Westbrook added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists in a losing effort for the Thunder. The Utah Jazz won 28 of their 41 home games during the regular season and have put themselves in position to take a stranglehold on this series. In Game Four, Utah outscored Oklahoma City by 13 points in the second quarter and took control in the second half to cruise to victory. The Jazz dominated the Thunder on the glass by a 56-37 margin. Utah assisted on 24 of their 42 made field goals and shot 53 percent from the field.

All five Utah starters scored in double figures and were led by Ricky Rubio with 26 points. Rubio also added 11 rebounds and ten assists to give Utah its first playoff triple-double in 17 years. Rookie of the year candidate Donovan Mitchell chipped in 22 points for the Jazz.

Oklahoma City F Andre Roberson (knee) will not play in the postseason and his defensive presence is being missed in this series.
