American Airlines Arena will play host to a Friday night clash between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat.

The Thunder have won six straight games and have surged into third place in the Western Conference standings. On Tuesday, Oklahoma City outscored Orlando by 12 points during the fourth quarter of a 126-117 road victory. The Thunder shot 54 percent from the field and turned the ball over just seven times.

Oklahoma City F Paul George poured in a game high 37 points on a 14-for-24 shooting performance. Russell Westbrook contributed 23 points to go along with 14 rebounds and 14 assists. The Miami Heat have split their previous ten games and lead Charlotte by a half-game for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Wednesday, Miami was outscored by 14 points during the second half of a 105-98 home loss versus Chicago. The Heat managed just 41 points during the second half and shot 38 percent overall.

Tyler Johnson led Miami with 15 points in 28 minutes off the bench. Bam Adebayo chipped in 13 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort for the Heat.

Oklahoma City C Steven Adams (ankle) and G Terrance Ferguson (back) are both expected to play in this contest. These two teams rank in the top eight in defensive efficiency, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on Miami to score the upset.
