The Thursday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the New York Knicks from Madison Square Garden. The Suns (16-24) have split their previous ten games and are currently 2.5 games behind Memphis for eighth place in the West. On Tuesday, Phoenix was outscored by 12 points during the fourth quarter of a 123-110 road loss against Atlanta.

Phoenix G Devin Booker poured in a game-high 39 points on 12-for-23 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. The rest of the starters combined for just 19 points on a woeful 6-for-28 shooting performance.

The New York Knicks have dropped 13 of their 19 home games and are arguably the worst franchise in the league. On Tuesday, New York was dominated from start to finish during a 128-102 road loss against Milwaukee. The Knicks (11-30) were outscored by 19 points during the second quarter and shot a dismal 35 percent overall.

New York F/C Julius Randle tallied a team-high 25 points on 10-for-20 shooting and pulled down 15 rebounds. Rookie R.J. Barrett added 22 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Knicks.
