Suns at Hawks 1/14/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Tuesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Atlanta Hawks from State Farm Arena. The Suns (16-23) have won consecutive games and are currently 1.5 games back in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. On Sunday, Phoenix outscored Charlotte by eight points during the fourth quarter of a 100-92 home victory.

Phoenix F Kelly Oubre Jr. led all scorers with 25 points on 10-for-19 shooting and pulled down 15 rebounds. Deandre Ayton contributed 18 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Suns.

The Atlanta Hawks have lost four straight games and own the worst overall record in the league. On Sunday, Atlanta fell behind by 21 points after one quarter of a 108-86 road loss against Brooklyn. The Hawks (8-32) were dominated on the glass by a 74-41 margin and missed 36 of their 48 three-point attempts in defeat.

Rookie G/F Cam Reddish tallied a team-high 20 points on 6-for-16 from the field. The rest of the Atlanta starters combined for just 26 points on a woeful 9-for-39 shooting performance.

Atlanta G Trae Young (hamstring) did not play in Sunday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this game. These two teams rank in the top ten in tempo and the Hawks rank 25th in defensive efficiency. Look for the score to soar over the total. Final Score Prediction, Phoenix Suns win in high scoring game 121-118.
