Suns at Grizzlies 1/26/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

FedEx Forum will play host to a Sunday NBA clash between the Phoenix Suns and the Memphis Grizzlies. The Suns (19-26) have split their previous ten games and trail the Grizzlies by two full games for eighth place in the Western Conference standings. On Friday, Phoenix made the plays down the stretch of a 103-99 road victory against San Antonio.

Phoenix G Devin Booker poured in a game-high 35 points on 11-for-20 shooting and dished out ten assists. Kelly Oubre Jr. chipped in 16 points and nine rebounds for the Suns.

The Memphis Grizzlies are a game below .500 on their home floor and lead San Antonio by a half-game in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. On Friday, Memphis used a 20-7 run to close out the game by a 125-112 final score at Detroit. The Grizzlies (21-24) connected on 11-for-22 from long range and shot 54 percent overall. 

Memphis F Jaren Jackson Jr. led all scorers with 29 points on 10-for-14 shooting and pulled down six boards. Rookie Ja Morant contributed 16 points and 12 assists for the Grizzlies.

Phoenix C Aron Baynes (left hip soreness) will be re-evaluated in a week and remains out indefinitely. The Suns defend at a slightly higher level and need the win more.
