The Connecticut Sun looks for its third straight victory Sunday when they take to the road to play the Atlanta Dream. The Sun defeated the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday 89-77 to improve to 4-1 on the season. Jonquel Jones led the Sun with 18 points, while Alyssa Thomas scored 11, pulled down 12 boards and handed out six assists.

Atlanta lost its third straight after falling to the Las Vegas Aces 93-69. In the loss, Brittney Sykes led the Dream with 15 points, while Nia Coffey scored 11 and Jessica Breland scored 10. Atlanta shot just 33.3% from the field and 21.7% from 3-point territory. The Dream was outrebounded by Las Vegas 47-33. Jonquel Jones is the leading scorer and leader in rebounds for the Sun with averages of 17.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per game. Courtney Williams is the second leading scorer with an average of 13.4 per game. Jasmine Thomas is the third leading scorer for the Sun and leader in assists with averages of 13.0 points and 4.6 assists per game.

Brittney Sykes leads the Dream in scoring with an average of 11.5 points per game. Jessica Breland is second in scoring and is leading in rebounding with averages of 9.8 points and 7.5 rebounds. Sykes is the only player on the Dream averaging double figures in scoring.

Connecticut has played much better to start the season going 4-1 SU and ATS, while Atlanta is 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS. Connecticut has Jonquel Jones, Courtney Williams and Jasmine Thomas carrying the scoring, rebounding and assist load, while Atlanta is finding it hard to generate offense scoring just 72 points per with just one player averaging double-figures in points.
