Storm at Fever 8/7/18 - WNBA Picks & Predictions

The Seattle Storm look for a fourth straight victory on Tuesday when they visit the Indiana Fever winners of two straight. The Storm will be playing the second half of a back-to-back on the road as they face the New York Liberty on Monday and head to Indiana to play the Fever on Tuesday. The Storm defeated the Minnesota Lynx on Friday 85-75.

The Indiana Fever are one a roll. The Fever have won two straight and three of their last five overall. On Saturday, the Fever defeated the New York Liberty 68-55 as Candace Dupree led the team with 25 points. The Indiana defense held the Liberty to no field goals during the fourth quarter and just two points in all. Breanna Stewart leads the Storm in scoring and rebounding averaging 22.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Jewell Loyd is the second leading scorer averaging 16.4 points per game. Natasha Howard is the team’s third player averaging double figures in scoring at 13.0 points per game. Sue Bird leads Seattle in assists with an average of 7.4 per game. Seattle is scoring an average of 87.6 points per game.

Candice Dupree is the leading scorer and second leading rebounder for Indiana with averages of 13.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Kelsey Mitchell is second in scoring with an average 12.8 points per game. Erica Wheeler leads the team in assists with an average of 4.1 per game, while Natalie Achonwa is the leading rebounder with an average of 7.0 per game. Indiana is scoring an average of 75.4 points per game.

Indiana is 3-6 ATS in its last 9 games played; while the Storm is 7-2-1 ATS in its last 9 games which included a 92-72 win at Indiana in which the Storm covered an 11-point road chalk on July 24. Think the Storm high scoring offense is just too much for Fever. Final Score Prediction, Seattle Storm win and cover ATS 90-76.
