Memphis went to the free-throw line 50 times in the foul-plagued game. The Grizzlies led by as many as 9 points with six minutes to play but could not hold on.

Ja Morant is leading Memphis in scoring and assists with averages of 17.7 points and 7.0 assists per game while Jaren Jackson Jr is the second-leading scorer with an average of 17.2 points per game. Jonas Valanciunas is the leading rebounder for Memphis with an average of 11.1 per game.
