Spurs at Warriors 4/24/18 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the second game of a Tuesday night NBA on TNT playoff doubleheader, the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors will play Game Five of their best-of-seven first round series. The seventh-seeded Spurs lost the first three games of this series by an average of 16 points, before putting it all together during a 103-90 home victory on Sunday in Game Four. The Spurs connected on 15-for-28 from the three-point line and only turned the ball over eight times on the afternoon.

All-Star F LaMarcus Aldridge led five San Antonio players in double figures with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Rudy Gay chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds for the Spurs. The defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors are playing without injured G Steph Curry and looking to win their third NBA title in the least four years. In Game Four, the Warriors were sluggish on defense and allowed 56 points during the first half. Golden State missed 21 of their 28 three-point attempts and shot just 38 percent overall. The Warriors did manage to outrebound the Spurs by a 64-43 margin on the afternoon.

All-Star F Kevin Durant led all scorers with 34 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. The rest of the Golden State starters combined for 32 points on a woeful 11-for-39 shooting performance.

Golden State coach Steve Kerr said that Steph Curry (knee) would not be coming back anytime soon. The role players for the Warriors went cold in Game Four, which tends to happen on the road in the postseason. Look for Golden State to get things rolling again on offense and push this game over the total. Final Score Prediction, Golden State Warriors win and cover ATS but like the over the best 114-101.
