Spurs at Hornets 3/3/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Tuesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and the Charlotte Hornets from the Spectrum Center. This will be the second of a back-to-back for San Antonio, who was outscored by 17 points during the second quarter of last night’s 116-111 home loss versus Indiana. The Spurs (25-33) knocked down 16-for-32 from long distance and shot 52 percent overall.

Veteran G Patty Mills led seven San Antonio players in double figures with 24 points in 23 minutes off the bench. Trey Lyles added 20 points and six rebounds for the Spurs.

The Charlotte Hornets have one of the youngest rosters in the league and are competing on a nightly basis for head coach James Borrego. On Sunday, Charlotte managed just 17 points over the final 12 minutes of a 93-85 home loss versus Milwaukee. The Hornets became the first team to hold the Bucks under 100 points on the season.

Devonte’ Graham led five Charlotte players in double figures with 17 points on 18 field goal attempts. Terry Rozier added 13 points and four assists in a losing effort for the Hornets.
