The win was Dallas’ first on the road in the last 19 games. Nneka Ogwumike leads the Sparks in scoring and rebounding with averages of 16.9 points and 9.4 rebound per game. Chelsea Gray is the second leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 13.0 points and 5.8 assists per game. Six players are averaging double figures in scoring for the Sparks.

Arike Ogunbowale is the leading scorer for Dallas with an average of 14.9 points per game. Kayla Thornton is the leading rebounder with an average of 5.7 per game, while the leader in assists is Allisha Gray with an average of 2.7 per game. Thornton is the only other player for Dallas averaging double figures in scoring at 10.7 points per game.

Los Angeles is expected to have a big advantage in this matchup up Wednesday as Dallas players will learn on Tuesday their fate regarding a fight with Phoenix on Saturday that produced six ejections. Los Angeles has won five straight and is the hottest team in the WNBA racing to the top of the Western Conference tied for the lead with Las Vegas.
