Western Conference foes will square off on Monday night, when the San Antonio Spurs visit the Phoenix Suns. The Spurs (8-13) are riding a four-game winning streak and trail Portland by 1.5 games for tenth place in the conference standings. On Saturday, San Antonio raced out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and held on down the stretch for a 112-107 road victory against Golden State.

Derrick White led five San Antonio players in double figures with 25 points on 8-for-16 from the field. Dejounte Murray contributed 23 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists for the Spurs.

The Phoenix Suns have won ten of their first 12 home games and are tied with Golden State for the best record in the league. On Friday, Phoenix had their franchise record 18-game winning streak snapped during a 118-96 road loss against Golden State. The Suns (19-4) were outrebounded by a 51-38 margin and shot just 38 percent from the field.

Phoenix C Deandre Ayton matched a game-high 23 points on 7-for-16 shooting and grabbed six rebounds. Veteran G Chris Paul added 12 points and eight assists in a losing effort for the Suns.

Phoenix G Devin Booker (hamstring) has missed consecutive games and will not suit up for this contest. The Suns have been off since Friday’s loss and that is bad news for the Spurs. Look for Phoenix to win a game that stays under the total. Final Score Prediction, Phoenix Suns win 108-101.
