The Kings (25-48) have dropped seven of their previous eight games and are on the verge of being eliminated from postseason contention. On Sunday, Sacramento took visiting Phoenix to overtime before losing by a 127-124 final score.
All five Sacramento starters scored in double figures and were led by rookie G Davion Mitchell with 28 points. Domantas Sabonis added 18 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists for the Kings.
The Indiana Pacers are four games below .500 at home and have already been eliminated from postseason contention. On Sunday, Indiana outscored Portland by 19 points during the fourth quarter to pull away for a 129-98 home victory. The Pacers (25-47) connected on 15-for-35 from the three-point line and shot a sizzling 57 percent overall.
Oshae Brissett led seven Indiana players in double figures with 24 points (8-10 FG) and nine rebounds. Jalen Smith contributed 17 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Pacers.
