Kings vs Warriors Picks and Prediction – 3/14/2025

In the second game of a Thursday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Sacramento Kings will square off against the Golden State Warriors from the Chase Center. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The Kings (33-31) have split their previous ten games and trail LA by one game for eighth place in the Western Conference standings. On Monday, Sacramento fell behind by 15 points after one quarter and allowed New York to shoot 54 percent from the field during a 133-104 home loss. 

Malik Monk led five Sacramento players in double figures with 21 points on 7-for-18 shooting. Zach LaVine added 17 points and four boards, while posting a game-worst minus 31 rating. Jonas Valanciunas added ten points and 13 rebounds for the Kings, who shot 42 percent from the field. 

The Golden State Warriors are riding a five-game winning streak and hold a half-game lead over Minnesota for sixth place in the Western Conference standings. The Warriors (37-28) rank eighth in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 111.3 points per contest. On Monday, Golden State built a 19-point halftime advantage and cruised to a 130-120 home victory versus Portland. 

Gary Payton II scored a team-high 26 points on 11-for-16 shooting in 28 minutes off the Golden State bench. All-Star G Steph Curry knocked down 5-for-11 from long distance and finished with 24 points. Buddy Hield and Moses Moody added 20 points each for the Warriors, who improved to 19-13 at home.

Sacramento F/C Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) and Golden State F Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) could both return to action for this game. The Kings put forth an embarrassing defensive effort last time out and will be motivated to play better. While Sacramento is unlikely to pull off the upset, they will keep this under the total.
