Rockets at Timberwolves 11/16/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 11/15/2019 at 11:48 PM ET

In Saturday night NBA action, the Houston Rockets will invade the Target Center to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Last night, Houston continued to show their improvement on defense during a 111-102 home victory versus Indiana. The Rockets forced the Pacers into 17 turnovers and have now won six games in a row.

James Harden continued his assault on the league with a game high 44 points and eight rebounds. Russell Westbrook chipped in 17 points to go along with eight rebounds and six assists.

The Minnesota Timberwolves started the season on a three-game winning streak, but their defensive issues have started to surface. On Friday, Minnesota allowed Washington to shoot a sizzling 54 percent from the field during a 137-116 home loss. The Timberwolves turned the ball over 20 times and were outscored by 18 points in the second half.

Karl-Anthony Towns led five Minnesota players in double figures with 36 points and ten rebounds. Robert Covington added 20 points and six rebounds in a losing effort for the Timberwolves.

Minnesota F Andrew Wiggins (personal) missed last night’s game due to the death of his grandmother and his status for this contest is questionable. These two teams rank in the top five in tempo, so the over is worth a look. The stronger play is on Houston to win their seventh straight. Final Score Prediction, Houston Rockets and cover ATS 126-119.
