The Houston Rockets look for their fourth straight victory on Thursday when visiting the Staples Center to play the Los Angeles Lakers. Houston improved to 32-18 following its 125-110 victory on Tuesday over the Charlotte Hornets. James Harden led the Rockets in the victory with 40 points and 11 assists as Houston overcame a deficit early in the game to beat the Hornets.

James Harden leads the Rockets in scoring with an average of 35.8 points per game. Russell Westbrook is the second-leading scorer, leading rebounder and leader in assists with averages of 26.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game. The Rockets have six players averaging double figures in scoring.

Los Angeles looks for a third straight victory on Thursday when hosting the Rockets. The Lakers improved 38-11 following their 129-102 rout of the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. LeBron James led the Lakers with 36 points including 19 during the fourth quarter helping propel the Lakers to the 27-point victory.  The Lakers lead the Pacific division by 3 ½ games over the LA Clippers.

Anthony Davis is the leading scorer and rebounder for the Lakers with averages of 26.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, while LeBron James is the second-leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 25.2 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. Kyle Kuzma is the third leading scorer with an average of 13.1 points per game.

Houston traded its leading rebounder Clint Capela on Tuesday night following their victory and his absence will be felt. The Lakers are leading the Pacific division, own the best record in the Western conference at 38-11, and have won five of their last seven straight up and are 4-3 ATS in those same seven.
