Last Updated: 08/08/2019 at 4:49 AM ET

In Tuesday night NBA action, the Houston Rockets will travel to the Golden 1 Center to take on the Sacramento Kings.

The Rockets have won consecutive games and lead Portland by a half-game for third place in the West. On Saturday, Houston outscored Sacramento by 13 points over the final 12 minutes of a 119-108 home victory. The Rockets connected on 17-for-52 from long distance and shot 47 percent overall.

Houston G James Harden poured in a game high 50 points to go along with 11 rebounds and ten assists. Clint Capela contributed 24 points and 15 rebounds for the Rockets.
The Sacramento Kings are a game below .500 overall and were the last team to be eliminated from the postseason in the West. On Sunday, Sacramento snapped an 11-game road losing streak against San Antonio with a 113-106 victory. The Kings limited the Spurs to 19 points in the fourth quarter and shot 48 percent overall.

All five Sacramento starters scored in double figures and were led by Buddy Hield with 26 points. Willie Cauley-Stein chipped in 17 points and six rebounds for the Kings.

Sacramento F Marvin Bagley (illness) did not play on Sunday and is listed as questionable for this contest. These two teams are even in defensive efficiency, but the Rockets hold a distinct advantage on offense. Houston needs this win to stay ahead of Portland and will get the job done. Final Score Prediction, Houston Rockets win and cover ATS 119-108.
