Rockets at Jazz 4/20/19 - NBA Playoffs Picks & Predictions

In the final game of a Saturday NBA playoff triple header, the Houston Rockets will look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead against the Utah Jazz. The Rockets held serve in the first two games by a combined 52 points. On Wednesday, Houston raced out to a 20 point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 118-98 home victory. The Rockets connected on 17-for-42 from the three-point line and shot 48 percent overall.

James Harden tallied a game high 32 points to go along with 13 rebounds and ten assists. Chris Paul chipped in 17 points and four rebounds for the Rockets. The fifth seeded Utah Jazz won 50 games during the regular season, but have yet to show up in this best-of-seven series. In Game Two, Utah never led once and trailed by as many as 28 points. The Jazz missed 30 of their 38 three-point attempts and assisted on 27 of their 39 field goals.

Ricky Rubio and Royce O’Neale scored 17 points apiece to lead five Utah players in double figures. Derrick Favors added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Jazz.

Utah G Dante Exum has a partially torn patellar tendon in his right knee and remains out indefinitely. The Jazz rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and hold an advantage on the glass. This series is far from over and look for Utah to bounce back with a win in Game Three. Final Score Prediction, Utah Jazz win and Dover ATS 114-101.
