On Thursday, the Rockets flashed their potential during a 126-111 home victory versus the Lakers. Houston outscored Los Angeles by 13 points over the final quarter and shot 49 percent overall.

Mike Conley led all scorers with 22 points on 7-for-15 shooting and dished out eight assists. Marc Gasol contributed 14 points and seven rebounds for the Grizzlies.
