The Raptors playing without Kawhi Leonard beat the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday 113-83. The win was Toronto’s second straight of 20 points or more. Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with 23 points and 12 assists, while Serge Ibaka scored 20.
Portland lost its second straight on Wednesday falling to the Memphis Grizzlies 92-83. CJ McCollum led the Trail Blazers with 40 points, while his teammates combined scored just 43. Portland averages 112 points per game, but came nowhere close to that thanks to the suffocating defense of the Grizzlies. Damian Lillard scored just 14 points for the game 13 points below his season average.
Kawhi Leonard leads the Raptors in scoring, rebounds and steals with averages of 26.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. Serge Ibaka is the second leading scorer with an average of 16.8 points per game. Kyle Lowry is the leader in assists with an average of 10.0 per game. The Raptors are shooting 48.5% from the field and 34.6% from 3-point territory.
Damian Lillard is leading Portland in scoring and assists with averages of 27.0 points and 6.1 assists per game. Jusuf Nurkic is the leader in rebounding with an average of 10.5 per game. CJ McCollum is the second leading scorer with an average of 22.0 points per game. As a team, the Trail Blazers are averaging 45.4% from the field and 35.3% from three-point territory.
