In Sunday afternoon NBA action, the Toronto Raptors will travel to the AT&T Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs. The defending NBA Champion Raptors (31-14) are riding a six-game winning streak and are tied with Miami for second place in the East. On Friday, Toronto connected on 17-for-35 from the three-point line during a 118-112 road victory against New York.

All-Star G Kyle Lowry converted 13 of 14 free-throw attempts and finished with a game-high 26 points. Pascal Siakam chipped in 23 points and seven rebounds for the Raptors.

The San Antonio Spurs are a game above .500 at home and trail Memphis by a half-game in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. On Friday, San Antonio was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 103-99 home loss versus Phoenix. The Spurs (20-24) missed 20 of their 25 three-point attempts and shot 42 percent overall.

DeMar DeRozan led the Spurs with 30 points on 10-for-15 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. The rest of the San Antonio starters combined for just 32 points on 13-for-33 from the field.

Toronto G Patrick MCaw suffered a broken nose in Wednesday’s victory against Philadelphia and will not play on Sunday. The Raptors rank second in the league in defensive efficiency, while the Spurs rank 23rd in that category. Take Toronto to win and a small road favorite.
