In Sunday night NBA action, the Toronto Raptors will invade the American Airlines Center to battle the Dallas Mavericks.
The Raptors have lost consecutive games and are currently a game behind Milwaukee for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. On Friday, Toronto fell behind by 13 points after one quarter and lost at Houston by a 121-119 final score. The Raptors turned the ball over 21 times and shot 48 percent in defeat.
Toronto F Kawhi Leonard tallied a team high 32 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Serge Ibaka added 12 points and 14 rebounds in a losing effort for the Raptors.
The Dallas Mavericks have won 18 of their 24 home games and are led by rookie phenom Luka Doncic, who is averaging 20.2 points per game. On Friday, Dallas limited visiting Detroit to just 16 points over the final 12 minutes of a 106-101 victory. The Mavericks connected on 14-for-36 from long distance and shot 46 percent overall.
Luka Doncic led Dallas with 32 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists. Dennis Smith Jr. chipped in 19 points and five assists for the Mavericks.
