Two teams headed in opposite directions this season will meet on Thursday night, when the Toronto Raptors visit the Atlanta Hawks.

The Raptors have won consecutive games and are 1.5 games behind Milwaukee for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. On Tuesday, Toronto built a 17-point halftime lead and cruised to a 119-107 road victory against Philadelphia. The Raptors outrebounded the 76ers by a 54-42 margin and assisted on 27 of their 41 made field goals.

Kawhi Leonard led a balanced Toronto scoring attack with 24 points and seven rebounds. Serge Ibaka and Kyle Lowry chipped in 20 points apiece for the Raptors. The Atlanta Hawks are 17 games below .500 overall and rebuilding around rookie PG Trae Young. On Monday, Atlanta raced out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and managed to hold on for a 137-129 road victory against Washington. The Hawks connected on 20-for-40 from long distance and outrebounded the Wizards by ten.

All five Atlanta starters scored in double figures and were led by Taurean Prince with 21 points. Trae Young chipped in ten points and ten assists for the Hawks.
