In the second game of a Wednesday night NBA on ESPN doubleheader, the Portland Trail Blazers will visit the Utah Jazz. The Trail Blazers (25-39) blew up their roster at the trade deadline and are in the midst of a five-game losing streak. On Monday, Portland was outscored by 27 points during the first half of an ugly 124-81 road loss against Minnesota.
Portland G Brandon Williams matched a game-high with 27 points (7-18 FG) and grabbed eight rebounds. The rest of the starting lineup combined for 24 points on a woeful 9-for-32 shooting effort.
The Utah Jazz have won 22 of their first 32 home games and hold a half-game lead over Dallas for fourth place in the West. On Monday, Utah trailed by 17 points entering the fourth quarter of a 111-103 road loss against Dallas. The Jazz (40-24) knocked down 12-for-31 from the three-point line and shot 43 percent overall.
Bojan Bogdanovic led five Utah players in double figures with 21 points on 7-for-11 from the field. All-Star G Donovan Mitchell added 17 points and nine assists in a losing effort for the Jazz.
