Pistons at Kings 1/10/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In Thursday night NBA action, the Detroit Pistons will travel to the Golden 1 Center to face the Sacramento Kings.

This will be the second of a back-to-back on the road for the Pistons, who were outscored by 12 points during the second quarter of a 113-100 loss at Los Angeles last night. The Pistons were out rebounded by a 47-34 margin and allowed the Lakers to shoot 56 percent overall.

Blake Griffin led five Detroit players in double figures with 16 points and six assists. Luke Kennard added 12 points and five rebounds in just 19 minutes off the bench. The Sacramento Kings are a game below .500 at the midpoint of the season and are currently two games behind Los Angeles for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. On Tuesday, Sacramento was unable to hold onto a 19-point halftime lead during a 115-111 loss at Phoenix. The Kings turned the ball over 26 times and allowed the Suns to shoot 51 percent from the floor.

De’Aaron Fox led five Sacramento players in double figures with 24 points and five assists. Willie Cauley-Stein added 15 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort for the Kings.
