Pistons at Hawks 1/18/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Detroit Pistons look for their second straight victory on Saturday when they visit the Atlanta Hawks. The Pistons improved to 15-27 overall following a116-103 victory over the Boston Celtics Wednesday night. Sekou Doumbouya was the leading scorer for the Pistons with 24 points. With the win, Detroit snapped it's 3-game losing streak.

Derrick Rose leads the Pistons in scoring with an average of 18.1 points per game, while Andre Drummond is the second leading scorer and rebounder with averages of 17.3 points and 15.6 rebounds per game. Rose is also leading the team in assists with an average of 5.8 per game.  Detroit has six players averaging double-figures in scoring.

Atlanta will play the back half of a back-to-back on Saturday when hosting the Pistons. Atlanta plays on the road Friday against the San Antonio Spurs before returning home to play the Pistons. The Hawks defeated the Suns 123-110 and improved to 9-32. The Hawks were led by Trae Young with 36 points.  Atlanta traded for veteran point guard Jeff Teague and forward Treveon Graham with the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Allen Crabbe.

Trae Young leads Atlanta in scoring and assists with averages of 29.1 points and 8.5 assists per game. John Collins is the second leading scorer and leading rebounder with averages of 17.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. The Hawks have five players averaging double figures in scoring.
