In Wednesday night NBA action, the Detroit Pistons will travel to TD Garden to battle the Boston Celtics.

The Pistons have won four straight games and have moved into eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Monday, Detroit raced out to a nine point lead after one quarter and defeated visiting Washington by a 121-112 final score. The Pistons out rebounded the Wizards by a 52-39 margin and shot 52 percent from the floor.

Detroit C Andre Drummond poured in a game high 32 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. Blake Griffin added 31 points to go along with nine assists and nine rebounds for the Pistons. The Boston Celtics have won 22 of their 30 home games this season and are currently tied with Philadelphia for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Last night, Boston played without injured G Kyrie Irving during a 112-109 road victory versus Philadelphia. The Celtics connected on 13-for-29 from long distance and shot 47 percent overall.

Gordon Hayward tallied a game high 26 points in 28 minutes off the Boston bench. Jayson Tatum chipped in 20 points and ten rebounds for the Celtics.

Boston G Kyrie Irving has been diagnosed with a strained right knee and did not play last night. These two teams rank in the top ten in defensive efficiency, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on Detroit to keep things close. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics win but fall short ATS 104-103.
